Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Compliments from the new Editorial Team of the Journal of Conservative Dentistry. It is indeed overwhelming for me to have taken over the responsibility of carrying the mantle forward of our esteemed journal and I thank each one of you as well as the executive members of the IACDE for showing their faith in me.
We all are passing through one of the biggest milestones in our life; The Covid 19 pandemic which has brought life to a standstill. With no end in sight we are living each day with the hope, that a cure is on the way be it a preventive vaccine or a drug that cures. The virus has created a whole lot of challenges for the dental profession with all of us worrying to practice or not whether to treat or not. We all hope and pray that this crisis soon becomes a thing of the past and we all move on in our lives safely.
Our editorial team is working hard to bring to you the crème de la crème of research articles, reviews and case reports in our speciality both nationally and internationally. This edition has an invited review on the present Covid 19 scenario relevant to our speciality as well as a mixed blend of Conservative Dentistry, Endodontics, Restorative and Dental Material articles for you all readers to enjoy and imbibe. No journal is complete without letters to the editor from our esteemed readers whose suggestions are extremely valuable and important for the progress of our journal. I specially thank The IACDE president Dr. V Chandrasekhar and our association secretary Dr. B. Mohan for their kind words and wishes. My team and I shall work hard to see that our journal rises to greater heights and creates a good impact that makes us all feel good and proud.
