Recently a great deal of attention is being given by IDA both at Head Office level and local Branches level by the Council of Dental Education and Council of Dental Health programmes. However, inspite of all these efforts at private levels, what measures are being taken to prevent loss of teeth at early age by the government, specially in our rural and semirural areas? The main purpose of this article is to draw attention of our government towards lack of facilities for conservation of teeth at our rural health centers. Inspite of development of latest technologies in prevention of extraction of teeth. Our government doctors are helpless to show their capabilities where they can do their best to preserve those teeth
