Though various kinds of restorative materials have come to the field of Dentistry for the preparation of inlay, cast gold restoration is still the material of choice for inlay. With the increasing demand for esthetic restorations, now researchers are trying to fabricate inlay with composite resin by conservative cutting of tooth structure. It still didn't attain general acceptance because of multifactorial reasons, of which the two-main causes are massive setting shrinkage and poor surface hardness. But with the advent of a new heat cure composite system, the drawbacks associated with conventional composite resin are eliminated. The present study will deal with the technique offabrication of heat cure composite inlay.
